The Local Government Board has renewed this morning its partnership agreement with the Ministry of Social Policy, Women and Immigration to the financing of measures aimed at the home support and staffing to care for dependents.
The total expenditure for the implementation of these measures, as indicated by the municipal spokesman Joaquin Segado, amounting to 718,000 euros, although the agreement with the Community covers a total of 381,000 euros, of which 281,000 are provided by the Ministry, and 95,000, City Hall.
Today, thanks to this agreement, the Cartagena 427 people benefiting from home care service during the week and 35 during the weekends.
Also, 43 people are users of the respite care service, 413, telecare service, and 83 people, the food delivery service.
The budget breakdown by service is:
Home help, with a party of 56,115 euros from 18,705 to the Community, under municipal.
Meals on Wheels, for which 80,000 euros allocated by the Community, and 26,000, by municipality.
Telecare, with a total of 81,000 euros, of which 61,000 are provided by the Community.
Respite care, for which the agreement includes an item of 89,000 euros, of which 67,000 are provided by the Community and 22,000 by the City.
But the Consistory also makes an important contribution to complete the program of respite care, specifically 307,000 euros.
This program is aimed at people familliar with dependents.
Social worker.
For staff contrtación aid to dependent persons, the agreement provides more than 28,000 euros.
