The Local Government of the City of Cartagena has ratified the agreement reached this morning several days ago by the Department of Personnel of the City of Cartagena with the five unions that make up the staff meeting (CCOO, UGT, SIME, CSIF and USO) on Dedication Special Regime (RED) affecting municipal workers brigade, local police and fire departments.
As explained by the Municipal Government spokesman, Joaquin Segado, this is unprecedented agreement because for the first time will run for four years until 2011, and has been signed with all the unions in the joint.
The RED is a bag of overtime which houses the staff of these three services to cover certain points of work throughout the year.
Through this agreement, each worked with this system provides an average of 180 hours per year, which will be paid by a fixed amount each month, thereby ensuring the availability of the City municipal employees.
One point that has led to the agreement was the regime that will fire staff, through the guards called location, which will present 24 hours to eight, as the local police.
