600 soccer players, 60 teams from 14 clubs and over a hundred different parties will meet at the VII International Interschools Football Tournament 'New Cartagena' 7 and June 8 at the Sports City of New Cartagena.
The goal of this tournament is to promote the practice of small football rules aimed at the lower grades (pre-Benjamin, Benjamin, juvenile, children, cadets and youth) and always betting on training and fair play.
In this tournament there are five autonomous regions and three different countries represented in Spain, as part Charlton (England), Benfica (Portugal) and Vikingur (Iceland).
The event was organized by the New Cartagena Soccer School in collaboration with the Department of Sports is expected to draw 2,500 people, not just purely sporting events but the parallel activities taking place during these two days.
Among them, there will be displays of rhythmic gymnastics, taewkondo, and disabled women's soccer, juggling or modern dance.
Noteworthy among them, the show dog training Marines to take place just before the close of the tournament and the trophy and medals to the participants.
The tournament will begin on Saturday 7 June at 9.45 pm with the presence of the winners at the Sports Gala Cartagena, Leo and Margarita Dominguez to kick off, as well as sports personalities such as José Miguel Monje, President Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, and the Councillor for Sports, Alonso Gómez.
The first day will be extended beyond ten at night.
On Sunday, the meetings will begin around 8 am, is expected to be close to the noon tournament.
