The Youth Resource Centre has welcomed today the awarding of diplomas of Accounting and Information Technology courses organized by the Department of Women of the City of Cartagena, a delivery that had to be organized in two shifts, given the large number of women about 130 or so, who participated in them.
Specifically, the courses have been developed have been one of Advanced Accounting, which began in January and ended in March, Advanced Office Automation six courses of 60 hours each, with the same length as the previous one, and two courses in Computer 85 hours, which also began in January and were completed in May.
Significantly increasing the number of participants and groups in the previous year, so have had to apply classroom outside the Department to meet the demand.
The profile of applicants includes all ages and the objective is the incorporation into the working world, learn about the technologies that drive their children to acquire new knowledge and not become outdated.
In general, the assessment of courses and their usefulness by the users is very positive, so much so that most have shown interest in continuing the training.
On 11 June, has called for another 150 women to collect diplomas, a group which also included several women's associations that have completed the courses in their neighborhoods, as is the case of Isla Plana, San Félix and Casa del Niño.
