The Popular University organizes Cartagena Course II Introduction to the study and identification of owls and nightjars, NOCTUA program, within the activities of Nature Workshop.
The course will be held at People's University of Cartagena, in a morning classroom session on March 28, 20:00 to 21:30 hours and Sunday 30 March, a field trip (overnight).
The objectives of the course are, first, start training people interested in the conservation and study of the owls and nightjars, and secondly, to inform and facilitate collaboration in the program NOCTUA (Effect of nocturnal birds of Spain) Spanish Ornithological Society.
The contents will be referred to the identification of owls and nightjars of Murcia and NOCTUA program, its importance in the conservation of birds in Spain.
Will be taught by Jesus Antonio Hernandez Navarro, Biologist, Research Secretary ANSE-Cartagena and Murcia Regional Coordinator NOCTUA program.

The Nature Workshop is a hands-on training activity that takes place throughout the school year every Friday evening and weekends.
