On Monday April 7 semifinal was held on the mode of competition between Guitar Strings and Metals for young musicians, organized by the Youth Council of the City of Cartagena and the Conservatory of Music, from which eight finalists were selected from nineteen musicians that had been submitted.
These are the young Marina Gallego Martínez, Sofía Jiménez-Gómez Briseis, Daniel Madrid Jordan, Murcia Ramón Gómez, Alberto Nieto López, José Vicente Santiago Santiago, Enrique Flores and Noel Thomas Manuel Giménez Almagro.
Guitar For this semifinal were counted with a jury of Juan Manuel Ruiz Pardo for the presidency, and Ascension Alfonso Arenas, Guillermo Dueñas Grau, Daniel Vissi Piedad García and Martínez Collado as jury members.
The next stage of the competition will be held on April 21 at 19 pm in the Auditorium of the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Cartagena.
Throughout this week will continue the knockout stage of the competition between strings and brass in the arrangements for Woodwinds and Piano.
