Around 2:00 am on Monday, a neighbor on the second floor of one of the buildings at the Town Hall Square, above the cafeteria Valor, the firefighters were notified of a fire that had occurred in the offices of a firm of shipping agents, located on the first floor.
A crew of firefighters, consisting of seven men, which was relieved by a similar one around 4:00 in the morning, went to the scene with a car fire engine, which has been working all night and well into the morning to put out the fire and, especially, the smoke that was generated, as the source of fire, as pointed out by the fire chief, Francisco Gómez Avalos, was in a paper file.
The fire has caused massive damage to the PVC drain the rest of the building, which, along with the smoke, has made the locals from the second and third floors of the building have been evacuated and have stayed overnight in a hotel, without having had that unfortunate injury.
It is still unclear what caused the fire, which is being investigated by the judicial police.
Meanwhile, the residents affected can not yet return to their homes until they repair the damage, mainly in the downspouts.
