The team spokesman municipal government team and Town Planning, Joaquín Segado, has come out against the information published in press in recent days on the status of the construction process of the new Spanish factory of Zinc, ensuring that information is misleading since, to date, the only procedure that has made the company's filing with the City Council a request to change land use, not a planning application, and until there is no technical project there may be new factory.
The application for land use change was presented on February 1 in the register of the City and went to the Autonomous Region on April 9.
To build a new factory, which is something different, the company must submit a technical project to the City Council and, once reviewed by the technical, he would transfer to the Autonomous Community, namely the Ministry of Sustainable Development to make environmental impact statement, a process which has not started because zincs has not yet submitted any project.
In this sense, Joaquín Segado announced a meeting on Friday, April 18, with the participation of the Spanish committee of the Zinc Company, the Directorate General of Quality of Environmental Quality (Department of Sustainable Development), Institute of Development the region of Murcia (Department of Economics, Business and Innovation) and the City.
At this meeting, which will take place from 13:00 in the Palace Hall, will take into account the steps the company proposes to continue and will propose the creation of a commission monitoring technique to analyze the state of the processes zincs carried out with the administration.
