The Federation of Associations of People with Disabilities Murcia Physical and Organic (FAMDIF / COCEMFE Murcia) was held from 11 to 13 April the Fifteenth Conference on Training and Living with the goal of bringing college students to the social reality of persons with disabilities.
In the opening ceremony of the conference, which took place at Hotel La Manga Galúa participated Councilman Social Care, Antonio Calderon, representing the Town Hall, accompanied by the Director General of Child and Family, Laura Muñoz, Vice Chancellor of Cultural Extension and Community Relations at the University of Murcia, Guillermo Diaz, the president of Famdif, Carmen Gil.
The events have been attended by a large group of volunteers, students and people with physical and / or organic, in order to promote the integration of society and bring to the university branch of the health-authority Education, Department of Physical Medicine, Psychology and the colleges of Nursing and Social Work, University of Murcia, a social reality of this group with whom you work in the future.
The issues have been addressed during the conference were related to the autonomy / dependency of people with disabilities, family and social environment, quality of life and health, and development of sexuality.
