The project Comeniu 'Futureurope' student exchange IES Jiménez de la Espada has brought our city to visit 25 European students have the opportunity to meet Cartagena until Sunday 20 April.
The students, from 'Broadgreen High School' of Liverpool (United Kingdom), 'Skole Selsbakk' of Trondheim (Norway) and Königliches Athenäum of clog (Belgium) have been received today by the councilman of Youth, Javier Herrero, that after giving them welcome them presented with souvenirs of the city and invited them to enjoy your stay in Cartagena to see our wide range of tourist.
Futureeurope is a project on European schools, with a view to this: what they are; the past: how they were, and future: how to be.
To analyze whether Europe is moving towards a more equal or increasing, however, the economic, geographic, and above all, climate will continue to differentiate one country from others.

Incorporation of Norwegian students at IES.
Site visit and attendance.
City tour.

Arrival of the Belgian students at the school.
Meeting with families and possible group activities for touchdown.
Noon: lunch meeting with Belgian Norwegian and Spanish teachers.
19:00 h Arrival of English students.
Meeting with families or potential activities in groups to touchdown.
THURSDAY, APRIL 17
9:00.
Inclusion of all students at IES.
Site visit and received by the director of the Center.
10:30.
Reception by the City Council of Youth in the Palace Hall.
11:00.
Visit the Palace Hall.
12:00.
Tour the Great Wall of Carlos III, Lift Pan and Park Towers.
In the afternoon activities at school and continue with a visit to the city and Cabo de Palos.
FRIDAY, APRIL 18
9:00.
Students attend class.
Maintain various meetings, sharing their different experiences, with a power-point presentation.
13-14 hours.
Tourist boat ride.
After lunch with their host families, students visit afternoon Castillitos Battery.
Teacher-pupil coexistence.
SATURDAY, APRIL 19
Tomorrow: Living.
Walk in the Salinas de San Pedro.
Afternoon: Return to Norway and the UK.
SUNDAY, APRIL 20
Back to Belgium.
