Mayor Pilar Barreiro received this morning at the Palace Hall to a group of 25 military attaches from many other foreign embassies in Spain.
During his visit to military installations in the country, yesterday arrived in Cartagena from Zaragoza to visit the naval base and military will be in town all day today.
Morning leave for Murcia, where they receive the city's mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara.
The mayor reminded them that the opening of the Town Hall, where they were received, took place for an event to meet the defense of Spain and England between King Alfonso XIII and Eduardo VII.
He said that the military and defensive architecture of Cartagena was once the heart of the city and encouraged them to enjoy it for about the past, present and future of Cartagena.
Later, Admiral Alberto Castillo has delivered a miniature dolls from Korea and Colonel Francisco Javier Fernandez Andres, chief of the section of the Ministry of Defence Attachés of a plate of the Secretary General for Defence Policy.
Finally, the mayor has accompanied the group on their visit to the Palace Hall.
