Cartagena will be converted from 25 to 30 August at a stage of the Audi Med Cup, the second largest sailing regatta after the Copa America in which more than 200 boats from eleven countries.
It will feature the best crews in the world, including the Rogue, whose patron is the King Don Juan Carlos, and the CAM, with Prince Felipe.
The circuit is composed of six races traveling for five months that will tour the waters of Southern Europe.
To reach the fifth stage Cartagena, Murcia Trophy after passing through Alicante, Marseille, Cagliari and Puerto Portals.

For its part, Nacho Postigo, Technical Director of the World Sailing Management organizer, said that the Med Cup is the only sailing event held every year and everyone wants to participate.
The winner is the one with the best results in 60 tests in which the circuit is organized.
Postigo has acknowledged that four other Spanish cities chose, along with Cartagena, to be the fifth stage of the circuit, although the interest of their institutions has declined the balance in favor of the port city.
