On Monday April 21 saw the end in the form of competition between guitar strings and brass, ending the selection of all finalists in this eleventh edition of Classical Music Competition for Young Performers of the Region of Murcia.
One year the contest between strings and brass reached the final of the competition, so the winners will have the opportunity to perform a concert with a professional orchestra.
Is an important opportunity for some of these young people when giving a boost to his career.
The closing ceremony will begin with the interpretation of one of the awardees of the previous edition, the soloist Mba Ana Flores, who will play a Mozart accompanied by the Cartagena Chamber Orchestra by director Brian George Webber.
Then proceed to the award of this eleventh edition, where the expected decision of the judges put the locking clip for the winners of the arrangements of guitar, strings, percussion, woodwinds, brass, piano and singing.
The closing ceremony will close with the Orchestra of the Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, which is currently led by Andrés Pérez Barnabas.
The final concert and awards ceremony will be held on May 9, at 20 pm in the Auditorium of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
There have been many who have made this contest, both teachers and members of the jury, staff of the Conservatory and other members of the Youth Council, also having the support of the Autonomous Region, through the Academic Planning DGs Cultural Promotion.
