Photographer Juan Manuel Díaz Burgos Cartagena homage to his childhood in his latest album, 'Welcome to the mouth', a series of forty-three black and white photographs that reflect a beach day every day of the Cuban people.
As explained Díaz Burgos at the opening of the exhibition, Boca is a small fishing village just four miles from the city of Trinidad, a small paradise in the great tour of the island.
The beach environment, the desire to live Cuban culture ...
is what has led to Díaz Burgos to move to his childhood in Cartagena and remember those afternoons on the beach in Cala San Pedro Cortina or through their images of the mouth.
This is the fourth installment of a photographer who confesses love of Havana and is currently involved in other photographic projects in Santo Domingo or Peru.
The exhibition can be visited Díaz Burgos Molina Palace until 25 May, from 10.30 to 13.30 hours and from 17 to 19.30 hours Tuesday to Saturdays, and Sundays only in the mornings.
