The Municipal Plan of Action on Drug Addiction has launched a new guide, '10 steps to help their children cope with the challenge of alcohol and other drugs', which presented on Saturday, April 26, Councilman Social Care, Antonio Calderon.
The event will take place at the Hotel Las Gaviotas in La Manga, starting at 18.00 hours, during the Days of the 25 Anniversary of the School of Parents organized by the Department of Education.
This new guide is included in prevention efforts and information from the City Commission of Drug Dependence of the City of Cartagena, with the aim of promoting health education, putting the service of teachers, students of primary and secondary AMPA's , resources and teaching materials adapted to each educational cycle, addressing the problem of drug addiction in a holistic manner.
The purpose of the guide '10 steps' to provide guidance to families with preteens and give parents the tools and skills to accompany their children in the process of personal growth by helping them prevent unwanted consumption.
The course includes parent guide is included in the educational provision for the AMPA's that every year offer from the Technical Office of the Municipal Plan of Action against Drug Addiction of the City of Cartagena, in order to be able to deepen 10 steps which provides the guide.
