The Board of Governors has approved the underwriting agreement of the draft 2008 additional protocol agreement signed between the Ministry of Social Policy and the City of Cartagena for the implementation of activities in social services for 2007-2008 Primary Care.
Under this agreement, more than one million Euro for the maintenance of social service centers Primary Care (894,190 euros from the region and 298,063 euros, the Town Hall), while for service Help address will be used more than 800,000 euros (601,412 euros from the Autonomous Community, and 200,471 euros, the City of Cartagena.
The home help service provides in the home, a range of care from domestic, social, psychological and rehabilitative support to individuals and families who need it because they are unable to do normal activities, facilitating so the permanence and autonomy in the usual way of living.
Finally, to the accompaniment program for Social Inclusion agreement intended a figure that exceeds 160,000 euros.
This program involves technical advice and support needed for people with difficulties in social integration, promoting actions that will enable them to access social resources, putting more emphasis on training and employment.
