Councillor for Education, Josefa Maroto, presented the twentieth edition of the Theatre School, designed to promote theater in schools, and that will take place from 12 to 28 May with the Centro Cultural Ramón Alonso Luzzy as a framework.
Josefa Maroto wanted to highlight the important work of teachers, assisted by monitors from the Department of Education, have worked with students in workshops on voice, body language and improvisation, through this exhibition, display of theatrical concerns schools and encourage teamwork.
Throughout the sample represents, in morning sessions, a total of thirteen plays, highlighting the wide variety of genres and authors, including the classics, with the participation of 363 school children, primary, secondary and special education .
The organization of this edition were involved twelve schools, both public and concluded, eight infant and primary, two secondary schools and two special schools.
Most had participated in previous editions, with new Limelight group, Quarrying Occupational Center.
The closing, on May 28, payable by the Group Theatre's Neck, with its exaltation of the work of imagination 'Fantasy (or something)' and all participants will receive a gift.
It is expected that about 4,000 children in thirty schools go through the Cultural Center to watch in this XX Theatre Festival.
