The Department of Sports City of Cartagena has decided to make a strong bet for rhythmic gymnastics in Cartagena, as demonstrated by the events it has organized in recent times.
In this regard, last Tuesday celebrated the VI School Individual Competition in the category of Sports and Gymnastics School Gymnastics Competition II Aesthetic group, a new method to be implemented gradually in our city.
The competition had participation of 150 students who staged a solo exhibition in our city's sports center, ending the aesthetic gymnastics competition and exhibition group of gymnasts Rhythmic Club Cartagena.
Categories involved pacifiers, prebenjamín, hands-free baby, juvenile-ball, child-string-ribbon and junior youth-clubs, led by twelve technicians specialized in this sport.
In addition, the council will also organize the Junior World Championships the next 23, 24 and 25 May, taking place in our city and with the participation of junior and senior team of Rhythmic Club Cartagena.
Since last year 2007 marked the third Championship of Spain of the Municipal School of Gymnastics, resulting in silver and bronze medal for teams in child and senior Cartagena.
