The Board of Directors of the Agency of Local Development and Employment (ALDE) Cartagena City Council has approved the project 'Convigual, lives in equality', to be presented in coming days to the Fundación La Caixa, to participate in the call for Social Action Projects 2008.
The project, one year with a budget of 80,000 euros, aims to provide an alternative labor insertion to 30 immigrant women through the implementation of individualized itineraries and practical training in companies in the sector of home help, to achieve their integration in social and working world, promoting gender equality and reconciling family and professional life.
The project has the technical and financial collaboration of the Municipal Institute of Social Services due to the effect the agreement signed with the Agency of Local Development and Employment.
