The Economic Administrative Cartagena claims resolved in 2007 20 of the 33 complaints brought by individuals against decisions of the City of Cartagena.
Of these, 11 have given the public reason.
The data belong to the memory of activities undertaken by the Economic Administrative Council during its first year of operation.
As you may recall the council is an independent body established by the City Council under the Large Cities, which can lead free citizens without counsel or solicitor, to raise questions about taxes or municipal or executive collection on traffic fines.
Its aim is to streamline the claims of citizens, without previously filing administrative appeal.
The claim is within one month of notification of the act or the last day of voluntary payment of the fee or tax.
According to the report explains, the majority of complaints, 29 were submitted from June, to accumulate the work in the past six months, although they have met the deadlines set by resolution, which is three months.
Of all municipal taxes to appeal, has been the most repeated tax increase land value (goodwill).
20 of 33 claims have been filed on behalf of public or private legal entities and 13, on behalf of individuals.
Of these, 11 were granted partial (8) or completely (3), ten were dismissed, one was resolved by satisfying procedural and other non-admissible for delay.
