Local Government Board has approved the transfer of a parcel of land in Los Dolores, in the expansion area of the neighborhood near the fairgrounds, to build a day center for people from the elderly.

For the first phase of works, the Autonomous Community will contribute 328,000 euros, being the municipal contribution a plot of 960 square meters with a value of 564,000 euros, representing 25 percent of the overall project, whose investment amounts to approximately the 2 million euros.

The total number of seats to be covered by day-care center will be 35 older.

This action is intended to provide family support during the day to meet basic personal needs, therapeutic and socio-cultural of people over 60 affected by different degrees of dependence, promoting their independence and remain in their usual environment.
