At the request of several schools, extending the period of the exhibition of projects undertaken by high school students for the contest KNOW WHAT EUROPE?
until 30 May.
This exhibition is installed in the Youth Space in the Youth Council, includes various works by first and second courses of senior high school and is open to the general public.
Visiting hours are Monday through Friday from 9 to 14 pm and Tuesday and Thursday from 17 to 20 hours.
The papers presented reflected a great diversity, where you can find several models, European cookbooks, audiovisual presentations, web pages, comics and posters on climate change, renewable energy and European culture.
The jury will decide next Monday, May 26, which will be the winning projects for both categories set (first and second cycle of secondary education) and consist of Javier Herrero, Councillor for Youth, M ª Dolores Alarcón, Secretary of External Relations and Cooperation Development of the European Information Centre of the Region of Murcia, Europe Direct and Antonio Sansano, coach of European programs of the City of Cartagena, Luis Fco Martínez, adviser to the Social Area for Language and Communication Center of Cartagena-La Union and Emilio Bernal, president of the Federation of Associations of Parents of pupils FAPA Cartagena.
On Friday, May 30, will be handed the prizes to the participants in the Multipurpose Room of the Youth Resource Centre.
