Cartagena City Council has obtained the Ministry of Public Administration approval of the European Social Fund grants for the project designed by WORK Agency for Local Development and Employment, as announced today the council of European Affairs, Agustín Guillén.
These grants are aimed at promoting job training, so that for two years and with the participation of 280 unemployed, distributed to women, immigrants, long-term unemployed, young people with special skills and needs of disabled, develop itineraries labor socio pass through individualized tutorials, training activities with a duration of 300 hours, additional training of 160 hours and labor practices, depending on the sector, will last about 160 hours.
Councilman Job, Javier Herrero, said to be a process of selection of participants among those who will derive the collaborating in the project, such as the Municipal Institute of Social Services, the Federation of the Physically Handicapped (FAMDIF ), the Chamber of Commerce, COEC or Workers' Commissions, among others, and to insert after the training, ALDE has established agreements with companies to facilitate access to employment.
The project will be the beneficiaries of the same in various service sector jobs, such as dining service for children and seniors, health social care to elderly dependent, first aid, warehouse management, cleaning and hairdressing assistant.
The aim is to promote equal opportunities between men and women and encourage the holding of placements.
The project budget amounts to the amount of 440,789 euros, of which 80 percent, about 352,000 euros from European funds and the remaining 20 percent, the City Council.
