Within the Spring Festival of Pozo Estrecho, coinciding with the celebration of the pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Carmen, which took place on Sunday inaugurated a square bearing his name, Virgen del Carmen, in the hamlet of Las Lomas.
The inauguration was attended by Councillor Area Public Safety, Public Roads and Services of the City of Cartagena, Enrique Pérez Abellán.
The works, which have been carried out by the Neighborhood Board Pozo Estrecho, have included the paving of an area of 2,000 square meters, a central plaza and 7 points of light, whose investment has hovered around 40,000 euros.
The event was attended by the president of the neighborhood, Enrique Pérez Blaya, and its members, as well as the pastor of Pozo Estrecho, in charge of blessing the place, attended by about a thousand people between pilgrims and visitors.
