The Municipal Commission for Citizen Participation will be established on Thursday, February 11, at a meeting to be held from 10 am in the Administration Building of San Miguel.

The commission is an advisory body under the current Rules of Participation, which channels the participation of residents and civic organizations in the areas of municipal action.

Its functions are basically proposing the implementation of activities to collect citizens' opinions on matters of public interest;

report on suitable places for installing off-bodies;

proposing the guidelines for the method of allocating municipal subsidies and all those that the Municipal Council will charge .The session will be chaired by the council area of Transparency and Good Governance, Juan Pedro Torralba, and will be attended by representatives of the municipal and the Federation of Neighborhood Associations and District of Cartagena Fernando Garrido.Además setting the frequency of meetings groups, the Commission Participation plans to create a table Sectorial work to modify the Rules of Participation and another for the creation Pact Commission of Night.
