The color and music that has dominated the streets of the city during the last ten days, had on Tuesday night colophon, with the awards ceremony and the symbolic burning of Don Carnal, acts which were attended by Mayor
Carnival 2016 came on the night of Tuesday to an end in Cartagena, with the two acts that tops off the great festival of music and color which has been held in the city over the past week.
The awards to the best of the holidays, first, and the burning of Don Carnal then put an end to an issue where the Carnival is still meeting and exceeding expectations.
The Municipal Sports Pavilion Wssell Guimbarda was the scene of such acts, presented by journalist Miguel Meroño, which were attended by the mayor, Jose Lopez, accompanied by the councilors of the government team Juan Pedro Torralba, José María Soler, Carmen Martin and Isabel Garcia, who presented the awards along with the president of the Federation of Carnival, Carmen Sanchez.
Parades, choreographic groups, queens and jokes, all the winners were taking the stage to collect his award without losing at any time, rhythm and joy is already a characteristic feature of the carnival.
After the delivery, the public who attended the flag came to the door to witness how Don Carnal burned, the mayor was asked to light the fuse, thus concluding the Carnival 2016 in Cartagena.
