The School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena (SPALC) has organized a series of courses to improve and update the knowledge of municipal employees in the use of automated external defibrillator, which will be taught by the Directorate General of Public Health of the Ministry of the Autonomous Region of Murcia.
The ultimate goal is that Cartagena is recognized as a cardio-healthy city, and is a course compulsory for all those municipal employees who already have Diploma DESA more than two years of antiquity, as it is understood to be of vital importance to have trained individuals who can act quickly and effectively in emergency situations in which they may submit a cardiac arrest.
This course, which is carried out internally for non-medical personnel of the City, will have four editions of four hours each throughout the year.
In February it is celebrated on the 9th and the 24th.
It takes place in the premises of the SPALC and work the following materials:
- Introduction to the resuscitation cardiopulmonar- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Practice Basic Life Support (BLS) - Semi-Automatic External Defibrillation (AED) - Plan to survive cardiorespiratoria- stop frequently Performances
