During that period we worked on collecting proposals and ideas to advance the design of the draft that gives rise to modification regarding pets ordinance.
Similarly, it has dealt with the procedure to follow up the consignment referred to in the national budget this year aimed at the sterilization of pets in families with low income.
It has been determined that this aid should be organized from the Department of Social Services.
The members of the board have been summoned to a forthcoming meeting to be held in the week from 7 to 11 March, which will host its agenda, among other things, the need to establish comprehensive control over the feces found in the street to ensure public health and promote accountability of the owners of the animals.
The Bureau of Animal Welfare, made ​​up of local police, Seprona, UNED, UPCT, CATAD, College of Veterinary, animal welfare, legal, technicians of the Department of Health Services of the City Council and representatives of all political groups of the Corporation municipal, meets monthly and operates through two teams: I one focused on legal aspects and the second aimed at design work on prevention and education campaigns, present initiatives for discussion, design and implementation programs and activities, among other issues.
