The mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, expressed the support of the City to the delivery of the Degree in Tourism at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.

In a letter to the Faculty of Business, Lopez recalled that last July 30 municipal groups agreed on the full urge the regional administration to ensure the delivery of this grade UPCT. The mayor has argued the region of Cartagena is the engine of regional tourism and the municipality has conditions to be one of the references of the national and international tourism .After praising the quality public education that is taught in the UPCT and places it at the head of the fields of research and information technology, the mayor concludes his letter offering cooperation and support of the City Council in implementing the necessary Degree in Tourism for the region.
