6 and 20 February will be developed with a group of volunteers aimed at reducing the loss of vegetation and soil erosion caused by sports and recreational activities promoted by Columbares and the Association of Road Strengths activities
To continue to enjoy the privileges offered by the Monte Roldan Columbares Road Association and Association of Fortresses have organized a day of environmental volunteers in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Environment, the City of Cartagena and Natursport.
The purpose of this call is to bring nature citizenship revegetation with native species shortcuts and signaling pathways as well as providing information to visitors raise awareness of the countryside.
The conference will be held on 6 and 20 February, from 10:00 to 14:00 hours in the parking lot next to the installation of Channels Taibilla.
This initiative is due to the intense use made ​​for the practice of hiking, cycling, mountain races and all kinds of recreational activities on Mount Roldán a steep mountain range of high ecological, geomorphological and cultural sites included in the Natural Space Sierra de la Muela, Cabo Tiñoso and Roldan.
These sports and recreational uses cause large impacts on the medi or soil erosion, loss of vegetation by the proliferation of short cuts, trash and abandoned wildlife discomfort, which is to reduce the performance of these activities.
