Cartagena will hold the first and only specialized awards in the cruise industry in Spain, the Cruise Excellence Awards annually recognize the work of its protagonists, with the help of their own customers.

The event will take place in the Auditorium and Convention Center The Batel on Thursday February 18 at 18:00.

These awards are the result of a survey of cruise passengers, which gives a special value to the awards for the assessment of the travelers themselves.

Last year, the Mediterranean edition registered more than 5,000 respondents.

In this ninth edition, the organization will award prizes in 12 categories: Best Puerto Spanish, Best Crew, Best Popular Company, Best Animation on board, Best Shipping Quality Price, Best Shipping Premium, Best Shipping Luxury, Best Boat in the Mediterranean, Best Recognition brand among Travel Agencies, Picture and Best Marketing, Best Company and Best Puerto River Tourism / Destination Mediterranean.

The ceremony will go about 200 people, highlighting representatives of major shipping companies, major ports, auxiliary industry, tourist services, travel agency, of tour operators, public administrations, the press, promotion agencies and cruise users.
