Mandarache Prize continues its course and prepares for 4 and February 5 Cristina Sanchez-Andrade, a finalist candidate for 2016 edition of his book Inviernas (Anagram, 2014).
The novel, set in a small Galician village, celebrates the popular oral narrative and composes a subtle psychological portrait of two sisters in Galicia after the war.
Cristina Sanchez-Andrade begin their meetings with the public on February 4 at 19:30 at the Cultural Center of Cajamurcia Foundation in Cartagena.
Here the author will meet with university and reading associations will also be open to the public.
A day later, on Friday, February 5, Sanchez-Andrade will visit at 8:00 pm IES Ben Arabi to present the novel the students of the center, which also participates in the Mandarache.
Then, at 10:30 am in the Board Room UPCT the author will meet with the press to be attended by the Councillor for Culture, Segado Ricardo Garcia and Professor of Carthago Spartaria, Laura Perez Sanchez, who will make presenter then at the traditional meeting with 600 high school students at 11:00 in the Auditorium of the UPCT.
Another renowned writer Manuel Rivas, the author defines as one of the most powerful voices in Spanish literature. Cristina Sanchez-Andrade is the second finalist of this year to visit Cartagena before April, will take place when the feedback of the thousands of readers who make up the jury.
In late March it will be the turn of the visit of the last finalist of this edition, Alejandro Palomas.
