Pozo Estrecho resumes a year, a rate of pasodobles thanks to international competition for the town of Pozo Estrecho.
This Saturday was held the final in which the band Santa Cecilia played three musical compositions finalists.
The Sensations piece, the author Javier Villalobos, was proclaimed winner of the contest and received a check for 2000 euros and a trophy, which consisted of a piece representing a bent staff made ​​of clay and mud by the association Prometheus.
In turn, Sensations, was honored by the Santa Cecilia band as their favorite pasodoble, the first year that this was the case.
The Chama pasodobles, the composer Franz Joseph Martinez Gallego, and Miguelín, the author Francisco Javier Rodriguez Guerrero, picked up the second and third place, receiving a diploma and a trophy as a souvenir.
To show their support for this musical initiative to the civic center of Pozo Estrecho Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belen Castejon, and the Councillor for Culture, David Martinez they moved.
Sonia Montoya, president of the neighborhood association of Pozo Estrecho, said during the course of the event for the next edition, which will coincide with the twenty-fifth anniversary of the competition, they plan to create a special category to reward pasodobles from abroad.
