To mark the launch of the new Housing Assistance Services and Trading, there have been two working sessions aimed at all professionals in the Department of Social Services and Social Mediation to coordinate and prevent, among other things, situations of eviction. The current government aims to create all the means and resources to address a comprehensive and inclusive municipal powers from housing problems, especially those that are being derived from mortgage foreclosures.

Therefore it has increased the number of professionals devoted to intervene in this issue and the budget. Likewise work is being coordinated with the Platform of People Affected by the Mortgage Cartagena, with the Ministry of Justice and other regional and national bodies it seeking ways and means to guarantee access to decent housing for vulnerable families in the reorganization of the Department of Social Services and Social Mediation and within the Service, is the Office of Housing Assistance and Intermediation, which providing the information, management and support to people as a result of supervening unemployment or lack of economic activity are no longer able to meet the fulfillment of obligations under loans or mortgages. The sessions worked new lines showing that the Service is making, coordination between the various units of the Department and especially the current regulations concerning housing.

They have participated social workers, teachers, administrative assistants and psychologists at the social area and in a few dates these sessions will be held with social institutions and organizations working in our municipio.En often preventive work can make people vulnerable to eviction or launching benefiting from measures and actions that the law protects and are unknown to those affected, so the reinforce the teams with information and portability from all sectors makes the result for the solution of problems whichever is greater.
