The football coach Vicente del Bosque Spain today opened the new sports facilities of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) in the House of Youth.
The Rector UPCT Jose Antonio Franco, explained that the sports center occupies an area 6500 m2 in the city center.
It has two tennis courts, three paddle courts, a sports court, a football field with artificial turf, a gymnasium, a recreation room and indoor spaces for targeted activities.
It also has a cafeteria 380 m2.
These facilities will benefit the university community and the citizens of Cartagena.
This is an assignment UPCT for exploitation by the company Illusion Sport Center, led by ex-footballer Juan Miguel García English 'Juanmi', who played as a goalkeeper for Real Madrid, he played for the Spain national football team in a chance.
Activities
The opening session consisted of a tennis exhibition by Jaime Caldés, children player;

Vicente del Bosque has delivered a plaque to the football teams of disabled.
