In addition to this cultural tour of the historic heritage of Cartagena other activity which was well received among the biggest was the hiking trail. In it, eighty people were displaced in l FEVE to the Sierra Minera for an educational walk with explanations about the mining complex's Parreta above the village of Alum and the Cabezo Rajao. This beautiful route, ten kilometers away and a low difficulty going through a very peculiar landscape, which for their valuable industrial heritage could be defined like an outdoor museum.
The first point of the route is the resort of La Parreta. This is a group of mines located in the area of Alum, occupied by a hill with a maximum height of 137 meters called Calvary.
In 1908 four large veins of sphalerite were discovered.
Following the route, it is noteworthy that the people of Alumbres born as a result of bending carried out to workers and workers from various locations.
