The Regional Assembly has approved the partial amendment, presented, promoted and fought for Citizens since the new term began, to start the project in the area of ​​logistics activities of Cartagena (in the industrial area of ​​Los Camachos).
The amendment, which has a budget of 600,000 euros, has been approved by the affirmative vote of citizens, PSOE and can, and vote against the Popular Party.

It has been a long journey, in mid-2015 Citizens Cartagena began an arduous legislative offensive to tour four outstanding chapters: November 26, Municipal citizen groups in Cartagena, Torre Pacheco, San Javier, San Javier, La Union, Los Alcázares, Fuente Alamo and Mazarrón simultaneously recorded a motion in these municipalities to promote ZAL Cartagena.
On 28 November, Citizens Cartagena managed to combine much of the Civil Society of the District of Cartagena, this alliance crystallized in a large mass rally that was attended by business groups, unions, associations, and other political groups, in the courtyard of the Faculty of Business of the University of Cartagena.
On December 4, the Citizens' Parliamentary Group recorded the partial amendment to the Assembly to the General Budget of the Community endowed with 600,000 euros.
From this date Citizen began meeting with other parliamentary groups to take forward this initiative, and finally managed to join the amendment to be presented together, all except the parliamentary group.
The fourth chapter, January 20, 2016 the Regional Assembly approved the partial amendment to start ZAL Cartagena.
