Format both prose and poetry interested parties may submit their creations to participate in the Literary Fair organized by the Brotherhood of San Ginés de la Jara.
The presentation of this contest, which took place this morning, has commissioned Transparency Councillor Maria Jose Soler, accompanied by the rector of students UPCT, Francisco Martinez, and one of the main promoters of the initiative: Brother of the Brotherhood of San Ginés de la Jara, Victor Javier Navarro.
These Fair had its first edition in Cartagena in 1969, and now holds a recovery effort in order to develop and disseminate activities that are intended to participation and knowledge of the history of San Ginés de la Jara, pattern Cartagena.
Both Mª José Soler as Francisco Martinez has shown its full support for this initiative and encouraged to join the Cartagena sending their works.
Big Brother of the Brotherhood stressed that writers can participate any nationality and origin provided it is in Spanish language and are unpublished and original creations.
Works will be accepted in the form of poetry and prose, and the overall theme will be about Cartagena and its people as well as San Ginés de la Jara.
There will be three awards for each category, the first being a two-day stay in an apartment for 4 people, a capacico fruits of the field of Cartagena, a lot of books, a lot of products Beer Byzantine, a physical therapy session a logo San Ginés de la Jara, a diploma and the publication of the work in media.
The second and third will be awarded a similar prize which highlights the product capacico field of Cartagena.
I repeat what I said a little at the time of my appointment as Brother, said Victor Javier Navarro, the objective of this project it is to enhance the figure of San Ginés de la Jara and I think this event is the beginning of many more, we can do, hopefully with maximum participation.
The deadline for submission of works is now open and will remain available until March 18, 2016. They should be sent by email to sanginesdelajaracartagena@gmail.com
