The council area of Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, by the Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, this morning visited the Health Center of Playa Honda, which is currently closed by order of the Ministry of Health.

One option would be to relocate the office in another location, specifically in a municipally owned parcel of 1,200 square meters.
Another way to value contemplates a dquisición by the local City Council Annexes to the office to extend and adapt the service, from the current 60 square meters to 400 square meters.
In any case, as pointed out by Francisco Calderon, it will seek to adopt the best solution to offer the service that residents deserve as soon as possible.
The Health Center of Playa Honda, recently closed for lack of space and deficiencies that prevented the optimal development of health care, serves about six hundred neighbors a part of the shores of Mar Menor (Honda Beach, Paradise Beach Villas Caravaning , etc.), which in the summer months sees its population increases considerably, even to double the number of residents.
In this way, and so circumstantial, users of the office of Playa Honda will be treated at the health center Costa Calida, located at Avenida Gran Via de La Manga, near the urbanization Castillo de Mar. The deadline for execution of works is eleven months and will involve a total investment of 256,327.97 euros.
.The Health infrastructure will replace the current practice and will serve an estimated population of 2,500 patients.
The new office will be supplemented later with the construction of a multipurpose building that will enable next have a boardroom and a store in order to provide greater operability and functionality to the health complex.
These developments have been known at the meeting that the councilors have held this morning in El Llano with representatives of the neighborhood association of the neighborhood, and with members of the company responsible for the work and municipal technicians.
