The jury, chaired by the Councillor for Finance, Isabel García, this morning held a meeting has resolved to award the contract for removal and disposal of abandoned vehicles thereof as municipal solid waste to the company Eco - Car Cartagena, SL.
The contract is the removal, transport and treatment and urban solid waste considered abandoned vehicles, which are deposited on or impound vehicles on public roads in the municipality of Cartagena, under Royal Decree 339/1190 , whereby the articulated text of the Law on Traffic, Motor Vehicle Traffic and Road Safety is approved.
The withdrawal of the vehicles will be produced at the request of the local police.
The contract is a result of the municipal obligation established by Royal Decree 1383/202 of 20 November on the management of vehicles at the end of its useful life, abandoned to deliver a treatment center for decontamination vehicles.
The tender budget is determined by the price of the vehicle that the contractor must meet the City of Cartagena, based on three classifications:
Mopeds, motorcycles, tricycles, special vehicles and quadricycles whose unladen mass is equal to or less than 400 kilos.
Starting price: 40 euros;
Offer price: 55 euros.
Automobiles of 4 or more wheels, partly or wholly by the fire and rescue service in their practice of releasing people in traffic accidents destroyed.
Starting price: 60 euros;
Bid price: 300 euros.
Other vehicles.
Price: 180 euros;
Bid price: 190 euros.
For an estimated annual average of 350 vehicles per year, revenue for municipal coffers estimated 56,700 per year, representing a 14.10% more than originally planned, which was 49.560 euros.
In another vein, it has also opened the envelope with the technical proposal of the contract of postal services of the City and the Autonomous Agency for collection management of Cartagena, which were presented companies Post and Telegraph, SA and Unipox, SA. These proposals shall be forwarded to the technicians to make the assessment and subsequently open the financial bid.
