The council area of Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, met this morning with the president of the Association for the Help the Disabled and the Free Arcade Southeastern and Levante (ASYLE), David Martin.
The mayor has seen firsthand the projects and needs of the entity.
ASYLE offers archery youth with disabilities.
By developing the activity of archery in all categories and modalities, it is to improve the quality of life of these people, because, as the president says, is no longer a sport into something therapeutic and social.
Thus, people with disabilities improve their care, strengthen the back and spine, and learn to be disciplined.
Calderon has welcomed the creation of a new partnership, thus adding to the different entities collaborating in the integration and development of people with disabilities in the municipality.
Also, the mayor has shown willingness to cooperate with the City ASYLE in his future endeavors.
For his part, David Martin, thanked the interest shown by Calderon, ensuring in turn that the intention of the association president is to work closely with the Consistory in everything they can, and continue to grow to offer a useful service people with disabilities.
The newly created ASYLE association already has nearly thirty volunteers willing to collaborate with the actions to be undertaken.
