The Ministry of Defense has chosen work 'Implementation of Social Responsibility in Public Administration: the case of the Armed Forces' teacher Defense University Center (IDRC) of San Javier, Juan Andres Conesa Bernal, one of the best nationally on this issue.
The teacher that is currently developing her doctoral thesis on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and technology companies and discovered that following the first Spanish ministry post a CSR report was the defense.

In his work, he has analyzed the situation of CSR in the public administration in order to know how it has been implemented in the Armed Forces and whether the principles of CSR are met according to ISO 26000.
Concludes, Corporate Social Responsibility is booming in Spain both in private and in public, something that has led to the need to improve the efficiency and transparency of public bodies.
In turn, in his study, it is perceived that the armed forces if they apply the principles of CSR, with the exception of participatory governance and management, which is only partly in the environmental dimension.
"The Ministry of Defense conducts socially responsible behavior, through its many activities, marking the way forward for other ministries, which should assume the principles of CSR to meet the demands of society" says.
However, he added that much remains to be done in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility.
He says it would have to do is "first political awareness, train officials and plan to implement it."
