The Spanish Federation of Popular Universities and the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, in collaboration with the People's University of Cartagena, will offer two new courses for young people from later this month.
The day will begin on January 29 Maintenance Workshop, adjustment and testing about to guitar, hand craftsman and researcher Luis Guerrero.
With this course, which will run until March 11, students can learn from start to finish the intricacies of his own guitar making a general training of adjustment and maintenance.
It will work from the description of the parts of the instrument until the process of adjustment and fine tuning, to handling the necessary tools.
The workshop will take place on Friday from 8:30 p.m. 16.30h.
Meanwhile, Stamping Workshop, Visual Poetry Solidarity will be given by Natividad Serrano from February 3rd to the 24th of the month, and will be held on Wednesdays from 17.00 to 20.00.
It is intended to create, design and printing on textiles and solidarity messages ideas for working artistic expression, painting and design on different materials.
The ultimate goal is to create own, fun and creative compositions with a personal touch.
For this various techniques of textile printing and painting, as stencil, creating own labels, working with templates or reserves will be used.
The registration period for both courses will open on January 11 and can be done online through up.cartagena.es
