The City of Cartagena has distributed this morning, among the 29 social action organizations that regularly collaborate with the Consistory, the more than 4,000 toys were collected this year with the Christmas season fiddles in an initiative organized by the Department of Social Services.
Councillor and Office of Transparency Portal, José María Soler, and the Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin, were in charge of receiving the representatives of the different groups who have come to San Miguel, where the bags were delivered with toys that are subsequently distributed to parents of needy children up to 12 years.
For his part, Councillor area Quality of Life, Francisco Calderon, expressed his satisfaction with the high figures achieved in this year's campaign, managing to be getting closer to the goal that no child is left without a toy town thanks to the solidarity of Cartagena.
In fact, this year they have collected more than 700 toys last year.
