The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) met today to the 16 companies that make up the Network Technology Business Chairs and Space Entrepreneurship in an act of recognition of their collaboration in the project, which this month has won the national University company of the Spanish Network of Foundations University Company (REDFUE).
The director of the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia, Javier Celdrán, delivered the gifts to companies.
"The Chairs network is a project that has given us the greatest moments of happiness with each student recruitment news and opportunities for new scholars in these years of difficult employability" stressed the rector, Jose Antonio Franco, during the act.
The Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation, Alejandro Diaz, said that the Chairs network, created in 2012, "is today a consolidated project with high expectations of growth."
Diaz thanked the companies for their work.
"This consolidation would not have been possible without the strong support and confidence you have placed in the UPCT during these two years of existence."
Chairs Network covers more than 1,500 square meters, given to companies within the University with the same commitment to develop R + D + i summon scholarships for students last courses space.
These students have the support of a tutor director who coordinates these and other lines of work with the company.
The proximity of the Chairs makes synergies arising between the companies to address joint issues.
Since 2014 have passed through the Red Chairs 80 students from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, of which 25 have already been incorporated into the templates of the companies on the Web. Only in 2015, they were funded scholarships worth 280,000 euros.
