The mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, held a meeting at the Palace Hall to congratulate the pilot Kevin Moreno watercraft.
The Cartagena, that champion of Spain and the King's Cup last October was proclaimed, validates the title won last year in the form of circuit Jet Ski GP1.
It was in his final round, he played on the beach of La Concha Los Alcázares, when Moreno totaled 58 points between the three races that earned him to win his second title in the top category in this mode.
Kevin Moreno belongs to Jet Marme Club of San Javier and has become one of the pilots with the greatest potential in the national scene.
Jose Lopez stressed that these victories are very important to bear the name of Cartagena to the highest levels of sport and, after the meeting, stressed that the athlete looks forward to repeating the visits as a result of new achievements.
The challenge for next season is to get the victory in the championship of Spain which starts in April.
It will participate as guest driver in two rounds of the World Cup from June.
