On Tuesday, December 22, the Museum of Roman Theatre in Cartagena hosts a lecture from Professor of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, Pedro Esteban.
During the talk, the teacher iconography illustrated with pictures of all the main figures and nativity scenes, including the less common as the Annunciation, the Massacre of the Innocents and the Rest on the Flight into Egypt.
In this talk, presented under the name of Meaning and paint a nativity scene, Esteban approached from the communicative sense of the Archangel Gabriel to the transformation of medieval Christian kings and wizards in your ritual before the Child, through the figure of St. Joseph as promised and exemplary husband, among other various own traditional nativity scenes that the teacher understands essential to give a complete sense.
The conference, to be held in the auditorium, will start at 19.30 and after that a nativity scene made ​​by the author in La Naval (Sea Wall, 1) will open.
