Social Economy companies use ICT related Internet, but do not exploit their full potential.
This was one of the main conclusions of the seminar 'The Social Economy and Business Online.
Trends and Key Success' organized by the Cajamar Cooperative Agro Chair of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
In it, experts in the use of ICT and social economy entrepreneurs who presented their experiences, showed attendees the success factors in the use of these technologies.
"Participants agreed on the need for increased training and recruiting qualified staff in the use of ICT to leverage all the advantages related to cost reduction, increase its visibility in the markets, increase sales and improve relations with various groups interest, "says Narciso Arcas, director of the Cajamar Chair and co-director UPCT book containing the interventions of the speakers.
They also agreed that the success of online business happens to have a proper marketing strategy, publishing quality content so that customers value more products or services offered and the advantages of dealing with the company, besides getting a direct contact loyalty and help generate a very useful for the development of new products or services feedback.
Different success stories presented prove it, and while these experiences are still rather rare, there is no doubt that ICTs are impacting heavily on the companies.
Therefore, it is time to act to use more and better.
The inauguration of the seminar was attended by the Minister of Economic, Tourism and Employment Development, the President of the Spanish Business Confederation of Social Economy, the regional director of Cajamar Caja Rural and the rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
