The Collective The Huertecica, working with people who are in social exclusion of drug issues, launches a new initiative within + Art Solidarity fundraising campaign.
The popular painter Ángel Mateo Cartagena Charris the association has donated a work inspired by the Algameca, in collaboration with the screen printer Pepe Jimenez, with the objective that one to the next one hundred people who become members will regale.
The membership fee is 120 euros, but in this case also would get one of these unique works as Charris commented that no one is like another.
The President of the Huertecica, Diego Cruzado, thanked the support from artists and the City of Cartagena, and emphasized that in addition to achieving social inclusion through education and prevention, culture is also critical, and with little money you can get much.
The Councillor for Culture, David Martínez, highlighted the tremendous work that makes this group since he was born in 1983 and noted that the City Council will continue to work with her, and they proposed several ideas in the Cultural Days.
The works will be on display and can be seen in the Palace Consistoria l, at the Faculty of Sciences of the business of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena and in the store Street Life Natura Juan Fernandez.
