Within the Physical Activity Program and School Sports 2015-2016 organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Sports in the Region of Murcia, holding the Municipal Badminton phase it is included.

This activity, held throughout Saturday morning at City Hall Espada, has exceeded the number of participants this year.

Schools attended are: CP Félix Rodríguez de la Fuente, CP Antonio Oliver, CEIP Virgen de Begoña, CP Virgen del Carmen, St. Joaquina de Vedruna CES, Espada IES, IES Ben Arabi, CES Sagrada Familia and IES Mediterranean .

For the organization of the competition counted on the collaboration of the Badminton Club Cartagena and sports technicians of the Department of Sports of Cartagena.

In addition, the Councillor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, was in the pavilion watching games and cheering the players.
